The Seacoast Parkinsons Wellness Expo returned to the Community Campus  in Portsmouth NH on June 13, 2026--and once again the size of the crowd surprised us. Nearly 200 people showed up, including people with Parkinsons, care givers, wellness professionals, friends, friends of friends, etc.  One family drove more than two hours from northern Maine and broke into beaming smiles describing all of the resources, support, and motivation they found packed into the building. "We have no access to this kind of information and expertise where we live!"

Favorites returned from year one, including sponsors Northeast Rehabilitation Hospital and Senior Helpers Inc. of Southern New Hampshire and they were joined by new exhibitor, Beth Israel Lahey Health/Exeter Hospital.

Demo classes included Rock Steady Boxing, Big & Loud, PWR! Moves, singing, dancing, Tai Chi, art workshops, e-trikes, Nordic Walking, ping pong. . . Once again, the room had that buzz of energy, optimism, and group motivation. Definitely a Dopamine high!

The Expo closed with an overflow crowd packed into watch musician Randy Armstrong transform a random group of attendees into a band of 30 drummers, who were surprisingly in sync.
